Homework assignment for my intro to drawing class, expanding on the studio drawing [link]
This is in conversation with Franz Marc's painting, Yellow Horses [link] I changed it around to make it Rif Raf, my childhood horse that passed away from colic several years ago. She was the kindest, sweetest, most loving horse ever. She was always so in tune to people, and always wanted to be part of the action. Yea, she was such a great animal. She got ill and died about 3-4 days after... it was really sudden and I was crying the most I've ever cried for a week straight. At least I have wonderful memories of her.
