The End

I drew this after watching The X-Files eppy "The End" from Season 5. I used a DVD screen capture as a rough basis, but added my own style to the characters. This part of the episode seemed very sad and touching to me. I felt so bad for Scully in this one, with Diana Fowley coming into the picture. Anywho, here's the dialogue between M&S:

SCULLY: There are talks going on right now about reassignment.

MULDER: (looking up at her) For who?

SCULLY: Both of us. These talks included instructions from the Justice Department to close down the X-Files.

MULDER: This was all strategized – every move.
I just couldn’t see it. It was all of a plan.

SCULLY: (sad and tired) Mulder, whatever you may believe, this time they may have won.
